Apple. Saviour of high street shops.
Following yesterday’s news that Argos has reported much better than expected sales because of the launch from the new iPad, now Dixon’s has stated exactly the same factor.
Dixons stated the launch from the new iPad had “helped grow the general computing market”, based on the Telegraph.
The store that also owns Currys and PC World stated it’s also benefitted in the change to digital television within the East of England.
But Apple’s iPad appears is the magical component it helping both companies defy the current recession, declining high-street sales and also the Eurozone crisis.
