Naughty Dog Denies It’s Working On Jak And Dexter 4 As It Focuses On Uncharted 4
Naughty Dog has confirmed it is not working on an upcoming and much desired Jak and Dexter new game. The developer is making the final steps into releasing Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and its future is still to be determined, although rumors want it is working on The Last of Us 2.
In an interview released to Finder.com, community strategist Arne Meyer said, talking about some drawings coming from a freelance artist hired back in the days by Naughty Dog, that “there’s a lot of art we didn’t release – some that we did put together. But there’s nothing in the works right now. You have to remember, a lot of the time, a lot of the artists that we work with are big fans of our games”.
Jak and Dexter is a long missing and beloved series from the PlayStation 2 era. While Naughty Dog got famous by working on it and Crash Bandicoot, it’s since the release of PS3 that it’s specifically working on more mature franchises, such as Uncharted and The Last of Us.
